At this point I don't see how they can contain the virus. It's all ready lose in the wild. The only thing I can see as a solution is a vaccine being develop to stop the spread of it. How this ties in to what happened to Palmer at the end of last season is anyones guess. Maybe he was giving the antidote (antibodies) for it. Killing Chapelle was no joke, I thought for sure they would of put a tracer on him not that it mattered anyway. Now for the question, if you were in the hotel and had started showing symptoms would you take the pill? I don't think I would but if my kids were there I would probably have my kids take it. I wouldn't want them to suffer. The one thing I would have a hard time with is not contacting my family. I would have no problems about staying there because I wouldn't want to spread it to my love ones but I don't think I'd let them stop me from contacting them. I'd think of something.

Fox_Trot I'll try to be there. What time zone are you in. I'm EST. I already logged on and got the update. Very cool game. Played a couple of skirmish games. Played 2 games with some friends against the AI on Battlenet(I have gotten rocked every time LOL). And am on the 5th mission on the regular game so far. I like it. Now I just need to get good at it. OK $ilk enjoy your kids, they are what counts and hopefully we can get together next week.

Got the battle-chest tonight at BestBuy, it cost $19.99 but I had a $5 Gift Certificate so ya can't beat it for $14.99. Gonna install and take it for a run. Hopefully we can get a game going this weekend. I'm sure you guys will rock me but ya gotta learn somewhere.

Hey bud I was reading your post about all the new stuff you got for your PC and noticed your comment about all the TV shows you have lost on your HD. I was wondering how do you get the TV shows in the first place? Are you using your Comp like a Tivo or do you DL them from Kazaa or something? The reason I ask there are a few shows I would like to get and wanted to know how hard it is to get them. Thanks for the info and maybe we can try out that Starcraft soon?

Hey $ilk. I've been thinking about picking these up. I'm a big RTS player but I got into it way after Starcraft. I normally play "Impossible Creatures" but also play "Age of Mythology", "Rise of Nations", "Warcraft 3(TFT)", "Dark Reign 2", "Sacrifice" & "Homeworld 2(although I have a hard time getting my head around this one)". Anyway everyone talks about how great the game was and I figured I should visit my RTS history. Plus I know it still has a big following. I hear it is actually a bit slow compared to the speed of an "Impossible Creatures" game though. Specifically I hear the build times are long. Anyway if I pick it up soon I'll be happy to play ya. You could give me some pointers because it always takes a while to get the builds down. I also like the sound of the co-op mode. That's pretty cool.

Just picked up Freedom Force(awesome game) the other day so that is taking up most of my time but I have Dungeon Siege pre-ordered. I'm also excited about Morrowind just don't know if I'm gonna get it for my XBOX first or for the PC. Gotta get it for the PC for the editor and extra content that will be coming down the pipe but I think I'll get more use out of it on my XBOX. I'll get both sooner or later and have multiple games going. Anyway I too want to get JK 2 at some point just not enough time in the day to play all I want to. If anyone wants to play some Freedom Force multi I can be found on Gamespy Arcade as FuzzySilk.

Actually I think the big M has a pretty good track record when it comes to games. They have thier Age of Empire games, Bridge too Far or something series, Mech 4 & expansion and many in the pipe. I'm sure there are more I forgot. I thought about trying those books but I couldn't figure out how many there were(4+ I think but I could be wrong) and what order they went in. Could you give me the names and order they go in Tac? Thanks!-) I'll check them out. I'm alway looking for good Sci Fi. Has anyone read the Gap series by Stephen R Donaldson? Is it any good? I loved his Thomas Covenant (not sure if I'm spelling that right and I don't have the books with me right now) series, but they can be a little dark and bleak at times.

First I wanted to ask anyone out there who has an Xbox what they think of Halo? SC didn't you have an Xbox ordered? What's your opinion? Second I want to open discussion again on who should write a BCM book. I am currently reading "Halo The Fall of Reach" by Eric Nylund. I picked it up because I really like Eric Nylund's "Signal to Noise" & "A Signal Shattered". I read a lot of Sci Fi & Fantasy. Anyway it's a pretty good book and I am impressed with his ability to write space & ground battles and thought he might be a good candidate to write a BCM book. My other choice for an Author would be Michael A. Stackpole. He has written many books from MechWarrior to Star Wars(His X-Wing series). He also has a few fantasy books he has written and he has helped make many RPGs in his day. No one does descriptive battles like he does. I think it is what he excels at. So that is who I am nominating. Who would you nominate? Anyway after what I have read in "Halo The Fall of Reach" I really want to play Halo but I don't think I can afford to get an Xbox yet. Post back what you think of Myth 3 please ! I agree too many good games coming out(alot of the ones I want are coming out on Nov. 13 & 15th). If only I had the money or time. Besides BCM what I would like to pick up is: EtherLords(awesome game, I got in the beta,it's a cross of HoMM and Magic the Gathering), Gothic(from what I've read about it it might be better then Morrowind), Wizardry 8(being released through EB just like BCM), & Battle Realms. Not to mention that I would like to pick up an X-Box with Halo, DoA3, & Morrowind this holiday season. And EGO(Peter Molyneux's RPG) whenever it comes out. Next Year Dungeon Siege, Neverwinter Nights, WarCraft 3, & whatever they name Sigma to. And then whenever it comes out(I think it's vapor ware):Team Fortress 2. But until the time comes when I have money again (and even after) I will be playing BCM and enjoying ever minute of it !

Hey I just picked it up today and was about to install it after I got off the web. What is the problem with the uninstall and where can I look up the info on it(ie what web site)? I don't need to hose up my system. I was really looking forward to this game. The Original Pool was my all time old favorite PC game. If I can safely install it I'm still gonna give the game a shot, I like to form my own opinions, I'm just concerned about the uninstall issue.

I was wondering if any of the Hard Core guys have tried this game(Allegiance by MS) and what they think of it. It sounds like a neat Space Sim/RTS and was wondering how it plays and what kind of games they get going. Also is the only way to play the MSN zone pay for play option or are there other servers out there? I don't think it will compare to BCM multi when it is released but I am always curious about different games in the Space Sim genre. This one actually sounds kinda neat. Not that I'm gonna rush out and buy it(got my hands full with BCM and loving it) but I might give it a whril in the future if some of my peers say it's pretty cool. What other Space Sims are everyone waiting for. Me? 1.BCM 2.I-WAR2(I have a real hard on for this game) 3.MOO3 4.DarkSpace and I'll even check out 5.Freelancer when it comes out(still think it's gonna blow). I wish they would make a Freespace 3.

Mind Rover I just picked it up a few days ago and have done the tutorials. I can tell this is a game I'm gonna get into when I have the time. It's a robot game that you design and program through a graphical interface(wiring). Check it out at www.mindrover.com Once BCM MP starts I won't be doing anything but. Once BCM is released it will take up most of my time. I also got Diablo II for Christmas from my Grandmother. Don't know when I'll ever play it, let alone install it. BCM has my full attention. Also I am trying to learn GBS which is taking up a good amount of time. I'm glad you started this thread rtoolooze. I was thinking about starting up a similar one about games that have meat to them. I think the BC3K player wants more out of their games so I am interested in what kinda games everyone likes. Two biggest games I'm waiting on behind BCM are Black & White and Neverwinter Nights. The beginning of the movie is one of the most powerfull parts of the movie! I saw the making of it on HBO and a lot of the stuff was really done at K2. I give it my thumbs up !! It makes me think of Star Trek (II -III) with the whole needs of the many out weighing the needs of the few or one and then vice a versa, the needs of the one out weighing the many. Definetely a movie that is thought provoking and makes you think, it's not just about action. All though the actions rocks! Go see it!-)
