ok, makeing money was a big issue when I first started and it took me way to long to figue out that Shuttles each carried mining drones. Go to TacOps click on a planet (then observe), then just click anyware on the planet and click again till you can use the arrow keys to look around. now go to the waypoint button at the bottom chick it and set it for a shuttle(1-4 it dose not matter)and then the order defalt will say "proceed to next", click that and click the "Deploy Drone" now look at the bottom of the screen and find the button that says "steops" (or some thing close) and pick location on the planet(just click some were) now go over to your command pallette at the right side of the screen and go to orders, shuttle (1-4) and order it to resume way point At this point the shuttle will launch and slowly make its way down and deploy the done, then automaticly return to your ship. (I know that most people know better ways of mining or faster ways, but this is some thing that no one explaned to me. So for other newbs they might find this useful.) yeah if any one else has any thing to add that would be nice....

The best way to deal with intruders that I have found is to just take away launch control and either make a v line for the nearest star base and the station ususally gets em...(:

Nice, I think this is my kinda fleet. I prefer to sniper things than get up close to them. So who can I talk to about joining? (if you guys ill let me join that is......)

I want to join a fleet that is good at combat I have a decent understanding of the game and I learn faily fast, AND I probaly have more time that anyone, so yeah......... (Im sorry but UC is not about RPing its about tatics and combat)

Yeah this is supposed to be about first impressions..... This game came off looking really cool, but then after about a day of dieing, I discoverd the FUEL issue. Dont get me wrong this game is truly amazing in its openness. This game is the closest thing to an RPG as any game will EVER get. (and i thought that EVN was good!) BUT dont you think that a goverment like GALCOM would want to keep there warships up and running with fuel when you really need it, cause your salary is not nearly enough to survie.......... I dont want to sound lame but this game is incedible.

Yo, I just got UC and I have to say that the game rocks. (If you ignore the incredibly steap learning curve, which in my opinon is only over come with the tutorial) Yeah....I have been using a battlecruiser 3000 tutial for a day or so and it has really helped out alot. If any one has any easy or modraly difficult ways to make enough money to keep the ship going (operational costs) please let me know! (im very worried about running out of fuel)
