I just finished installing the demo2. I went thru the setup with no problem. When i went to start it, i got the little BC3000 introduction. Then, it crashed to the desktop. Anyone else have this problem? I remember when this happend with the original game, i created a shortcut for it. And it ran fine. Do i have to do the same thing here? Thanks.

I'm in the process of downloading the 2nd demo now. Do i need the first demo to play the second? I haven't played episode 1 yet.

I don't know if this is thr right place to post this or not. It's been a very long time since i've posted anything here, i may have forgotten. I also have forgotten some of the features in BCM. One of them was about getting out of your craft, and walking FP on planets. I know we will still be able to do that. But, my question is, are there going to be enemies we fight on land? Other marines or aliens? I'm not talking about MP. I'm talking about single player. When we step out of our craft, what kind of things will we be bale to do. I'm sorry if this has been covered, but, it's been awhile since i've been here, and i would just like to get caught up on the news. Thanks.

I've been away for awhile. I saw the news the BCTE was no more. My question is, will we still be able to walk in FP on the planets? If we are, are there other marines that we fight? Or do we take out the bases? BTW, i just saw the new screenshots. They keep looking better and better.

heh. Don't worry, i won't. I bought a Falcon about 1 1/2 years ago. And i love it. So, i was going to get a Talon for now. Then next year, i was going to get a top of the line Falcon. I made the mistake of getting a "off the shelf" computer years ago, and i will never go back. When i get my Talon, i'll probably throw my voodoo2 from my present computer, into my new one. That way i'll have 3dfx support to go along with my GeForce. And i might put in an extra 128 ram. How much is ram going for these days?

Ok. I'm going to be oredering a new computer this week. I have a problem though. I don't know what to go with. I'm only going to have this sytem for about a year. And then i'm going to go all out, and get the top of the line. In the mean time, i want a computer that's going to play the latest games well. I'm thinking of getting an Athlon 700, GeForce, 128ram, 15 gig harddrive. Will this computer be able to run the newest games (especialy BCM) very well? I could go up to an 800, but, i don't want to spend too much money when i'm going to be getting another system next year. Besides, is there much difference between a 700 and 800 Athlon? I could add a couple hundred bucks if i have to, but, i don't know if it would be worth it. So, do you think the Athlon 700 would be a good buy? Thanks.

Thanks guy's. It's amazing how much you'll missed if you haven't been around for a while. I am so ready to play this game. I've been with this game since the original came out. Downloaded all the patches for it, bought v2.0, and all the patches for that. It's fun to be a part of this game from the start, and see how far it has come. BTW, the box art is excellent. Hey guy's. I must say, that's an awesome pic. It's been a long time since i've visited, and i hope one of you can refresh my memory. There won't be first-person in the space stations in BCM, right? There will be first-person in spcae stations in BC3020. Is that right? Because if there is, and the space stations look that good, i might never get in my battlecruiser. I'll just run around the station all day.
