bc3k v1.x freeware HELP!

I recently downloaded the bc3k freeware version, and the executable file included with it, makebc3k.bat, will not seem to put together the zip file that i need. Can anybody help me out here?

Last I checked, only v. 2.0x are supported here. Besides, just about everyone on this forum has a 2.0x version.

Also, it would help if you'd provide more specific information. What's in the .bat file would be helpful. But I'll take a shot anyway.

I assume that the makebc3k.bat contains a copy command, something like

copy /b blah1.ext + blah2.ext blahfull.ext

If the .bat file doesn't work, you can try to do it manually. Just make sure that you have all the necessary files.

I'll call the files bc3k, yours might be different

Do a:

copy /b bc3k.01 + bc3k.02 + bc3k.03 + (until you reach the last file) bc3kfull.zip

There is no "+" before the bc3kfull.zip

Once it is done copying, try to open the zip file. If it doesn't work, you either have an error in one of the bc3k file sections and have to redownload, or you can try to do a "copy /a" instead.

But what I really, strongly recommend, is that you forget the freeware version and get the 2.09 demo from this site.

If you can find the readme you can do it. Do exactly what it says in the order it tells you to and it works. I did it over a year ago. The 2.09 demo is self installing and you shouldn't have any problems with it.

Free version: not supported

2.09 demo: not supported

Retail Ver 2.0 supported (but we will tell you to get 2.09 )

Retail 2.09 supported.

Try the 2.09 demo on the downloads page as it contains the up to date features that the free version does not.
