Problems are , i can get the sound configured but when i try to run the game , it crashes after the intro in 3dfx mode , if i play in software mode , it works but when i try to save a game ,it crashes

please help me , i got the game today......

That's kinda vague...more info would get you a better response.

What version came on your CD? Did you install any patches? And most importantly...have you read the FAQ? Several times?

I know it sounds crazy, but it wasn't until about the 5th time I read the FAQ that I finally caught the one line that fixed it crashing for me. (Installing patches from the BC directory...even though the patch thinks it can find the right dir, it was still crashing until I installed the patches FROM the BC dir...)

Anyhow, read the FAQ again, then post more info if you're still having trouble.

do a search on your problem first. go to search and type in the parameters 'no sound'

without the quotation marks, you will find a most recent topic with many answers and solutions to your problem. the thread will be called 'No Sound'
