Greetings BattleCruiser Commanders, Ive a slight problem.

I downloaded the patch upgrades for 2.07 but I still get the OldFile message even after reinstalling the game to my comp. I uninstalled everything pertaining to the game folder and all the first time after I had downloaded the patch for 2.0-2.08 and I first got the error. When I reinstalled I discovered I had 2.07. So I downloaded the 2.07-2.08 patch. Still, I get the same message. So I uninstalled and reinstalled once again and tried the patch again. I've done this thrice and still get the same message. Can anyone help me figure out what I am doing wrong?

Hi Cynfyn, do you have the patch file you are installing in your bc3000ad folder e.g. "c:gamesbc3000ad"? If not that might be the problem, you must intall the patch IN your games folder. If yes, then I'd suggest that you try to download the patch again and start from the scratch.

Thanks for the help guys but I did follow the FAQ instructions to the letter each time. What I wound up doing was redownloading the patch upgrade for 2.07 to 2.08 not long after I first posted. and It worked fine when I installed it. Unfortunately not long there after I was unable o get online until today to let you all know that I fixed the problem myself before I got notification of you all's responses. Thanks for the help guys
