Pyros Posted August 31, 2000 Report Posted August 31, 2000 Please don't shout at me for this. I Decided after getting back online and drooling over BCM to install my original UK (Gametek edition) and it played (Amazed because of all the changes to my setup) Now I have the: BattleCruiser_3000AD_Upgrade_UK, Unzipped it to my BC3000AD directory Creating: UpdateUK.bat bc3k206.exe.I goto the directory and cliq on the Update UK Batch file and it starts installing. Until it gets to bc3lib2.res it says old file not found. (I uninstalled and tried again this time opening the exe file)I checked the FAQ and it only deals with 2.0 plus issues.I can't remember how I installed it last time I know it worked but this time i'm stumped. Now I know i'm missing something and I know its my own fault and I know its not a bug, and I'm sure SC will point this out to me .Just want something to keep me from drooling over the screenshots for BCM because its not healthy for my keyboard.
Pyros Posted August 31, 2000 Author Report Posted August 31, 2000 Okay must have missed that aswell, I'm pretty sure I patched my Gametek cd last time,(it was you who allowed me to download the upgrade patch and send you 10$ through the post ) thankyou for your quick reply SC.
Paul Keith Collins Posted August 31, 2000 Report Posted August 31, 2000 HI PYROS. The UKupdate patch should be 2.01 to upgrade V1.0 to 2.01 and then you can use the available patches to upgrade to the 2.09.If the SC says it is alright for me to send you the UKupdate to patch the Gametek V1 to V2.01 then i will Email it to you but only if our Supreme Comander gives me the ok to do so. ------------------ CMDR Lord Darth Vader FLEET: GALCOM PRIME GCV Imperium ICQ# 45333631[This message has been edited by Paul Keith Collins (edited 08-31-2000).]
Pyros Posted September 1, 2000 Author Report Posted September 1, 2000 Thankyou Paul, seems before I lost the net I had it upto 2.6 but when I rebuilt my system I backed up the wrong BC3K zips.
Supreme Cmdr Posted September 1, 2000 Report Posted September 1, 2000 Sure you can send it to him, but I doubt that he'd be able to patch to the latest version, without first finding the patches which go from 2.01 to 2.07, then he can grab the patches from our sites. I no longer have any 1.0x patches available. The only ones I have, are on the downloads page.
Paul Keith Collins Posted September 1, 2000 Report Posted September 1, 2000 Thanks SC. I will send Pyros the V1.00 to V2.01 and i will send him the V2.01 though to V2.07 patch then SC and then he can get the V2.07 to V2.08 & 2.08 to 2.09 patches from the Downloads Page.Pyros if you let me have your Email address i will send the required files to you so that you can patch your V1.00 to V2.07 so that you can get the other TWo patches from the Downloads page in order to patch to the v2.09 version. Don't forget to download the Map pak as well and if required the GBS files. If you ever need the UKupdate patch for V1 to V2.01 Derek or the 2.01 to 2.02 and so one i have them all or if you know any one that requires the files due to losing they copies then i will be only to happy to send them on.------------------ CMDR Lord Darth Vader FLEET: GALCOM PRIME GCV Imperium ICQ# 45333631 [This message has been edited by Paul Keith Collins (edited 09-01-2000).]

Paul Keith Collins Posted September 2, 2000 Report Posted September 2, 2000 Hi Pyros. The Files that you require are on they way to you as i type this reply to you.HI Adam Thomas. I too like happy endings and if this help gets Pyros to V2.09 of BC3000AD then i like the ending also. At least he will be able to see the big improvements that the SC has made since V1.00. ------------------ CMDR Lord Darth Vader FLEET: GALCOM PRIME GCV Imperium ICQ# 45333631
