Guest aramike01 Posted October 23, 2000 Report Posted October 23, 2000 Try resizing your moniter view area ratio. Should change itself back when you go to Windows.------------------ Vice Admiral Michael Kristophers ICV-Intrepid, Spectre (Antis) Fleet Leader Spectre Fleet Official Tester, Battlecruiser SeriesYou can only love or hate what you truly understand![This message has been edited by aramike01 (edited 10-22-2000).]
Supreme Cmdr Posted October 23, 2000 Report Posted October 23, 2000 Set your monitor refresh rate in Display Properties by setting your display to 640x480 16-Bit and then using the monitor controls to adjust the screen. Then go back to Display Properties and set your desktop back to the default resolution. Next time you start any app that runs in 640x480, the monitor should comply.Mouse trails are a common phenom with DOS games running under WIN9x. No way around it.
Guest Yapa Posted November 8, 2000 Report Posted November 8, 2000 I have found that the screen wide thing is caused by the refresh rate as stated by the other guy. This occurs in all games, especially ones that try to run in 640x480 resolution, and you have the refresh rate set to a custom one.Within windows/desktop switch your desktop resolution to 640x480 and then go to the adapter tab and set your refresh rate on "adapter default" and this should solve your problem. If its already at adapter default, try putting it at 60hz, this seems to be the best or only refresh rate for that resolution. All my games/program run at 60hz, if i try to make the refresh rate higher, it gives me that wide screen problem.Yapa
