Win2K BC3K V2.09

I downloaded Battlecruiser this week and have been tirelessly trying to install it. I have checked the forum and have not seen this error. When I try to install it comes up with an error before it even begins. The error reads: "The operating system is not adequate for running Battlecruiser 3000AD v2.09 freeware". Is there something that I can do to fix this.

System Spec

Win2K Service Pack 2

256 meg of ram

40 gig hard drive (30gig free)

AMD Atholon 1.1Gigahertz

DirectX 8.0

Any help is appreciated.

I gues you're one of those whose strongs points is NOT to read documentation, right?

Which part of this entry, RIGHT THERE on the FilePlanet downloads page, was unclear?

Further, if you had actually looked at the BC3K product page, also linked from File Planet, you would have seen the requirements.

I DELIBERATELY disabled the Installer script from working under WINNT, WIN2K and WINXP, for this same reason.

I hope you wasted 8hrs downloading it, that should teach you a lesson you're not likely to forget in a hurry.
