Captain Over Posted June 8, 2001 Report Posted June 8, 2001 I read something on one of the many threads floating around about a marine who had a duplicate on board the BC and his look alike who refused to leave a planet's surface. The best suggestions by the experts were to waste the look alike, since marines are obviously expendable. I've run into a similar situation with our fearless leader himself - Karl Reines. I'm being told at the beginning of a mission that he is enjoying some hard earned time off, 3 weeks of basking in the rays of Alpha Centauri on some secluded beach on Cronus. My orders are to pick him up there for my next mission. He, (or his twin brother) is resting comfortably at this moment in the VIP quarters of my BC. Should I let the vacationing Karl on Cronus book his own Carnival Cruiseship back to GALCOM HQ? Surely nobody would advocate the marine solution in the case of the Supreme Commander, would they?
Eclipse Posted June 8, 2001 Report Posted June 8, 2001 Well considering I'm and Insurgent, it's tempting to advocate it, but no Just let him live comfortably on the ship.
Delgard Posted June 9, 2001 Report Posted June 9, 2001 Perhaps it's all part of some elaborate setup...Nah...
Rico Jansen Posted June 15, 2001 Report Posted June 15, 2001 quote:since marines are obviously expendable. NO!, NO!, NO! Marines are not the ones that were expendable. Our Combat Officer Paul Resnig is.
