Game freezes - sorry to bother ;(

Hey guys,

Well, few weeks ago I let one of my buds borrow my CD, and since it came out free I told him he could keep it and let him think I was going to get it again for myself, heh, but now that I uninstalled what I had and replaced it with the free version, I've run into some problems. Might have something to do with a total revamp of my system in the time I didnt run it, but heres what happens.

I installed the game,setup sound, and I ran the Bc3k.bat, and the intro ran. It stopped, went dark for couple seconds like it was going to stop on me twice, but it always picked up and continued. I thought it may be intentional, so paid no attention. It went on to the main menu, and I hit either cotinue or start a new game, and that screen loads. Fine, so far. I click on any of the slots, and everything totally freezes. Cant move the mouse, the graphic on the top right of the screen has stopped, cant ctrl+alt+del out, only way to do anything is to hit the 'reset' switch.

Before I get blasted, I've read down the FAQ twice, and see nothing on it. A few things similar, and ive tried some of it. I added /v1 to the Bc3k.bat file. Also, thinking it could be possibly something sound-card related I went back into setup and set it to where I didnt have any, and under configure in the main menu i turned off all the sound-related options.

After all that, still nothing.. Oh, and I edited my Config.sys file to what the FAQ suggested, though at a loss to remember exactly what that was for, something memory related. I also set the DPMI memory in the .bat file to 65535, what the FAQ said was max. I cant think of what else to do, never ran into this kinda problem and couldnt get around it. My comp is.. Used to be IBM, but now its just a mut. ASUS motherboard, 128mb ddr ram, Athlon K7, & a ATI Radeon vid card. I know the game isnt supported, and hate to bother, but if anyone could help me out.. greatly appreciated!

I suggest you do a complete re-install and see if it happends again the same way.
