BC3K freezes at same spot???

I know this has been covered in depth on another post using another brand of computer and all different cards than I have.But, if I could just ask and maybe get an idea how to make this game work,I would appreciate it.I run a PIII@600MHZ w/ 256 sdram pc133.Vid card is an ATI Rage Fury PC128 w/latest drivers, Creative Soundblaster w/latest drivers,W98SE.I have reinstalled several times and always downloaded the patches into the 'bc3000ad'directory.Out of the box I have version 2.07. Free dos mem is over 600kb.

I read all that was reccommened for one guy to change just to make this game work and wonder if it worth all that or not, not having seen it run anyway.

Please help me or flame me.

But right now I can't help you, 'cause you didn't tell what excatly happens when you try to start the game.

Freezes, yes but, HOW? WHEN? WHERE?

We need more information before we can help.

And of course you tried to start the game using bc3k.bat NOT the 3dfx one, right?

And your question about is it worth of trying to fix it, big YES, I promise you it'll be worth it.

Yes,I use the bc3k.bat to start it.It will run until it gets to the available game screen and then it freezes. Not to say that I am successful at getting to this screen every time but most of the time.Does it every time it gets there.I am allowed to punch in a pilot name and then freeze.
