Hello!

Reading the manual I can't understand the level of micro management required by the crew.

Is it a commander task to make off-duty the crew in order to rest or it is an automatic task of the game itself?

Will have my officers an automatic rest every specific period of time or I have to order them to rest by myself?

I have tried, just to learn the game, ordering off-duty at all interceptors pilots, but the game itself recalled all of them on-station to the interceptors in a very short period of time ... so I'm confused ... I'd like to have an half of my pilot resting when the other half are on-station.

Thanks in advance

Everybody on your ship goes off-duty when they are too tired, and go back on-duty when rested. I think they go off-duty when they are at 75% fatigue... but not sure.

You don't have to micro manage the crew, but part of the game play is to keep an eye on them. Particularly the pilots. You don't want to find yourself in need of an interceptor right when the pilot needs to go off duty because they're exhausted. It's a rare situation, but it can happen.

Your Bridge Officers will order personnel back on station for you. If you wish your personnel to rest, send the Officer In Charge off duty too.

If you want to manage your own marines. Send Resnig somplace other then operations.

Or just assign Resnig to a shuttle, launch it, and NEVER EVER reclaim it...

He ain't worth that precious shuttle!!! Get him on your transporter pad and seek out a nice spot in the middle of an insurgent encampment on a planet or moon. They can waste their weapons on him all they want.
