Guest Wolfensteijn Posted February 20, 2001 Report Posted February 20, 2001 I don't have a clue on own to search for this, so I'll just try it this way.I've been trying to get meself a copy of version 2.x I haven't been able to find one. The online stores which should sell it are either not accesible enymore, or don't have it anymore :|.So I want to know, where and how can I get a copy of the game. I want to get into the game again before BCM gets released.

Guest Posted February 21, 2001 Report Posted February 21, 2001 Well for anyone living in the California bay area who wants to collect BC stuff, I just saw a brand new unopened copy of BC3000AD V1.0 at the Electronics Botique in Valco Mall. That's south bay near De Anza College. It's going for $14.99.
Kush Posted February 21, 2001 Report Posted February 21, 2001 Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I don't think there's any way of legally upgrading v1.0 to v2.x.If that's a brand new Take Two version, I think you're out of luck.
Joaquin Posted February 21, 2001 Report Posted February 21, 2001 I saw a few copies of Version 2.0 in the Toys 'R Us $9.99 bin just recently.
Gryphon Posted February 21, 2001 Report Posted February 21, 2001 Try your local Radio Shack...the one I usually visit has had a copy of BC3K sitting on a shelf collecting dust for quite some time, and its still labeled to sell at $20.00.Of course, this is the store selling Mechwarrior 2:Mercenearies at $40. Bah.Erik
Kush Posted February 21, 2001 Report Posted February 21, 2001 Gryphon,What part of town?!!!! I want to get a copy for a friend of mine. I have looked high and low.
Guest Wolfensteijn Posted February 21, 2001 Report Posted February 21, 2001 I was hoping someone knew a European online store, Chips & bits only have it in backorder , and I thinks its going to take me to long before I may be able to get my hands on it .
Guest Posted February 21, 2001 Report Posted February 21, 2001 I might be able to get hold of a copy for you, I gave a copy to a friend and he can't handle the depth of the game, so let me see if I can get it back from him and maybe send it to you. May take me a couple of days, but I'll see what I can do. ------------------ CMDR Jaguar GCV Excelsior This is not just a game, It's a life unto itself!! ICQ# 24007233

Kush Posted February 22, 2001 Report Posted February 22, 2001 Just a thought, has Derek ever considered putting the latest BC3K on the BCM disk as a bonus? Some other games have done this and it's a great way for someone who is new to the game to understand the history of its gameplay.
Guest dnoyeB! Posted March 20, 2001 Report Posted March 20, 2001 searched yahoo shops, and turned up a copy. I ordered it. Well see if I get it. Yahoo has been so corrupt with selling duplicated software and other illegal action, I hope its all legit...
