So, what exactly don't you know about?--RTFM (Read the fine manual) --RTFA (Read the fine appendix (under docs/appendix/appendix.html in the BCM folder; there's also a start menu icon)) --Go browse the forums or use the search for information.If you can't figure out where in the manual/appendix to find something or can't find it in the forums (or both), then you can post here, or ask me. n00b.
Guest Table Posted November 26, 2001 Report Posted November 26, 2001 alright i'm new and i'll try not to sound stupid (happens inevitably anyways..but oh well) but would it be hard to consider replacing one of the shuttles i have with a fighter. i don't need two shuttles, but i could use 1 figher. just a thought
Urza Posted November 26, 2001 Author Report Posted November 26, 2001 Well first off, you can't substute fighters with shuttles. There's a world of difference between the two. If you want to buy a new one, (brace yourself, it's expensive, and make sure you have room in the cargo bay) go to TradCom and buy a "FC Asset" or "SC Asset". Then go to Tactical/Loadout and click on the vacant designation to assign the new ship. It should pop up saying that ship was destroyed, but you have a replacement in the cargo bay. There will also be a button that says "Replace fighter" (or shuttle). Three guesses on what to do next. I suck right now but I love it.Maybe I should paint a big bullseye on my ship cause I've got a feeling I'm going to feel a little like Custer at little bighorn once I get online with you guys. What's the fastest ship again? Hmmm let me check my binder... ooops .. oh no.. incoming... aaargh. Binder and joystick drop to floor as Cmdr. Oban's ego is shattered in another mind blowing explosion. Is it possible to be a worse commander than this Resnig guy?Bring it on gentlemen. My day will come.

I'm sure you'll get the hang of things before multiplayer......And no, it's not possible to be worse than Resnig. At least not to my knowledge.....
