Yeah. The Playmod tool is being overhauled and updated as we speak. I passed it on to Andrei to do yesterday and it should be ready by next week.

I also enabled the /i (invincibility) mode in the upcoming 1.0.01 patch.

I haven't used a cheat in a game since the original doom (loved that clipping)

anyhoo... cheating deters from the game, and the only thing I can think of that cheating would help with is getting the artifacts. But that's my goal for the game... to get the RANDOM and blow up earth right before my court marshal.

so if you do include cheats, make them mild (i.e. money, invulnerability, but NOT the ability to get the artifacts)

Why not? Though I'm not a big fan of cheating either, I believe that anyone who pays $50 for a game can do whatever they want with it, so long as it:

[*]Doesn't violate the conditions of the EULA

[*]Doesn't detract from other people's enjoyment of it (such as cheating in MP)

I must concur with Urza here. IMHO cheating should be impossible in MP but in single player it should be up to the individual.

If a player wants to waste the excellent opportunity to train for MP in single player, all power to them. In point of fact, why not make more facets of the single player game user customizable? (Just a rhetorical question- not a wishlist entry. )

Heh, this just means more cannon fodder for the rest of us when MP makes its debut.
