Question about roam/acm

Sorry in advance for my limited understanding of this game....

When I load up a new game and chose my race as terran and caste as police ill go to open up my miscon andd ill have a choice betwain Roam *with the option of accept/reject* and ill have the option of chosing the ACM however if i then quit out of the game without making a choice of which campagin to choose and DELETE my profile and create a Terran/Insurgent ill have the option of starting two campagins one being the Galcom police ACM or the Insurgent ACM *the choice for roam is also there*... Basicly im asking should this happen? And if this made no senese im sorry ill try and clearify

It works the same way, regardless of race/caste/career selection.
