Now I have a question...Since I am a newbie do I post my questions about crashing here or do I go to a different forum?

The members of the community are very helpful, but only to those who help themselves. One of the best ways you can do that is attention to detail. If you look at the headline for this forum it says "Game Related-Not for tech support." So to directly answer your question: No don't post it here. When you do post give as much info as possible. What were you doing, what were you trying to do, what did you do right before it happened, did it crash to desktop or lock up?
