every single time i send shuttles out on missions (drone duty, evacuation orders etc), when the shuttle finishes and RTB's, the marine onboard dies when the shuttle docks. none of the shuttles have dangerous minerals onboard, or intruders. the shuttle manages to dock fine, it doesn't get destroyed or anything, just the marine dies. can anyone help?

Is there a nearby fire fight within the shuttles flight path??? This happens to me when I send my shuttle out when a battle is going on near its flight path.

no, theres nothing nearby. not even a cloaked ship. fortunately i can still go out with my AE on the shuttle, then RTB and not die.

Stuff happens. So, try to deal with it and find a way to prevent mishaps - on your own - instead of whining like a baby everytime you encounter something you can't explain.

If you can't handle being a commander, why not try a simpler career? You'll fit right in with the likes of Resnig in the incompetency dept if you keep getting your crew killed.

Seriously though, enjoy the gameplay, as there are some surprises, you just can't explain. You do know the game has a mind of its own don't you???

Welcome to the ULTIMATE in AI programming.

How smart are the marines you send on away missions? The stupid ones tend to forget about turning on life support. It's a Resnig thing.

..then there's radiation, infection, damage induced by the shuttle probably colliding with the terrain during ingress/egress etc etc

There are a dozen ways you could die in a shuttle. And if you look hard enough, the evidence will always point to this fool.

hehe, its always a good thing. The only bad thing that happens around here, is when (a) patches are long overdue or (B) someone gets banned.
