Cmdr Ristar Posted October 3, 2000 Author Report Posted October 3, 2000 Cmdr. Tringad sent me a list of the fighter units that we had done in the past. This number might increase but for now here is the list of the Fighter Squadrons assigned to each Wing. The Wing leaders can give nickname designations, but only after the official name listed here. If you want to create NPC leaders to lead the squadron for role play purposes, or as you get people who want to be only pilots and are assigned to the wings, you can have them take on some of the responsibilities of the squadrons.Tactical Support Wing77th Tactical Fighter Squadron Squadron Leader - Major Ryan Parker Defense Wing 43rd Tactical Fighter Squadron Squadron Leader - none Intelligence and Espionage Wing 399th Special Ops Fighter Squadron Squadron Leader - none CIOPS 282nd Special Ops Fighter Squadron Squadron Leader - noneWing Leaders if you create an NPC, post a list here of them so we know exactly who is an NPC so we can use them for role playing purposes also.------------------ Fleet Cmdr. Rod_G Posted October 5, 2000 Report Posted October 5, 2000 Cmdr. RistarI have a NPC that I created during the mole hunt rp. Lt. Commander Seth Greyson who was my 1st officer before he took Emergency Leave. You can read about it on the Wrath Massacure rp page 1. I was thinking that he could be Squadron Leader for 282nd since there is no one in that position yet. I can also come up with a NPC for the 75th Orbital Marine Battalion. Until someone wants to fill that position. It would be cool if some of the new members would jump in and take over. I wasn't sure if I needed to run this by you or Cmdr. Bader first. Anyway here's the idea. This might be a redundant question. But, under the operations wing are these the units that I use to set up and assign operations with or do I need to create some? Anyway any feedback will be welcome. Cmdr Ristar Posted October 5, 2000 Author Report Posted October 5, 2000 I would run it by Cmdr Bader as to the assigning of NPC's. I trust his judgement. And for the second point, the units that have been assigned to each wing are there for that unit to use to carry out it's specific mission type. CIOPS has the SURGE unit. I will send out information about SURGE through the ISS email system. The part that each wing will have in a mission will be determined during the mission planning stages. Sometimes the units under the command of one wing, might be commanded by another wing since it might need tactical support for it's part of the mission or recon or whatever, but that unit still belongs to it's parent unit, but is just "loaning" it out to another wing temporarily.------------------ Fleet Cmdr.
