Guest matman30 Posted January 1, 2001 Report Posted January 1, 2001 Ive got version 2.7 patched to 2.09 with mappack. And I can't dock with these surface bases. I know how to dock and have done it on alien bases, but on earth when I fly to the base I can't choose it on the tactical display, I have it on ground tracking and have tried with and without the radar mask. I've actually parked the shuttle about 20 feet from the thing and still couldnt choose it. Anyone encounted the same thing, seems like a bug to me.

This girl has been put to rest and the SC has moved on to coding BCM.Anyway, you can get into Earth (and Mars). Once you are near it. Make sure Tacscan is in GND mode. The version-control-file says it should be available by cycling through the targets apearing in the CVD. But I have never found Earth in there. What I did was press "j", and let the moving map show up. Cycle through the targets again and one of them should be Earth. (Or Mars)Don't ask me why, but it is. ... for me anyway.------------------ Cmdr.
