Duncan Idaho Posted March 9, 2002 Report Posted March 9, 2002 Yeah MP will be big fun. But I'm waiting on BCO. I think that's where the REAL fun begins. I better get my affairs in order before that game hits the shelves. Idaho

Yes it will, I can just imagine flying my shuttle out of a docking bay and some behemoth carrier comes up and asks if this docking bay is taken

They however use the same class as the ATV, which is why they come outfitted with missiles - by default. Will probably clean that up in a future patch. Gallion Posted March 11, 2002 Author Report Posted March 11, 2002 Firestorm and the Megaron are now neck-and-neck Which of these two Carrier Class Crafts will prevail? TTFN

Shadow_Wolf33 Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 a bigger craft will....will....make a bigger mark when you crash it on a planet and it hurts more when you ram people with it...even though ramming is a really dumb idea...would be sweet to be able to buy a ramming bumper for your ship
Supreme Cmdr Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 Here is where I corrupt and influence the poll You Firestorm luvers, say hello to your new home [ 03-12-2002, 09:39: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]
Gallion Posted March 12, 2002 Author Report Posted March 12, 2002 hehehehehe ... wonder what else you have stuck in that bag of tricks SC Firestorm and Megaron are Tied. Sunflash has a very slim margin over the Warmonger TTFN [ 03-12-2002, 18:11: Message edited by: Gallion ]
Shintai Tusatsu Posted March 13, 2002 Report Posted March 13, 2002 Ah, I voted for the Firestorm, not to go with the flow but because it's my mainstay CC. Glad to know it's popular amongst all. Unfortunately I'm a fairly recent addition to the Battlecruiser family, so I'm afraid my opinion at this point is somewhat, uneducated and under-experienced. I could be favoring a completely different ship in a week who is to say. By the way Duncan, your description of the Sunflash was getting me all excited until you mentioned it only had 5 marines. That kinda turned me off...a lot. I'll stick with slow and steady for now, at least until I feel more confident in my abilities to be a very effective commander in all aspects of the gameplay. Then I can begin to focus in on the areas I'm strongest at and match both my strengths and weaknesses to a CC that fits. BY THE BY! Ironically enough I just destroyed a Megaron in my little Firestorm yesterday, well before I saw this poll...coincidental? hmmm..
GREG MILLER Posted March 13, 2002 Report Posted March 13, 2002 Give one up for the flying lobster, and a Questar.

Supreme Cmdr Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Looks like they both took the lead. Dunno why anyone would even like the Megaron; but then again.
Epsilon 5 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Seems the battlecruisers aren't much appeciated
