IceCold Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 You have reached the limit of the scripted sector as a result of some game malfunction. To return to the sector you left-enter the flux feild labled "real space"

You only end up in this region of space if you go outside the boundaries of the space region. You can stay in there for as long as you like and can leave whenever you feel like. To enter nullspace, you simply have to fly off any edge of the region i.e. go to tacops and set a wp at the extents of the grid, fly to that waypoint and keep going straight. Since the world is true 3D, you can fly off the edge in any dimension in XYZ space.
Kalshion Posted January 7, 2003 Author Report Posted January 7, 2003 Ahh ok for a second there I thought I was stuck in some bug.. but SC.. I got there when I collided with the Floating Supply Base *I call it that* the thing that marines go to, to rearm and repair and medical stuff.. So why is it when I collided with that I was sent into Nullspace?

Kalshion Posted January 8, 2003 Author Report Posted January 8, 2003 Is it a glich? or did you design it that way so that the darn thing didn't cause a hull rupture

Jerrai Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 is it just me or does that supply base move to fast to use as a Space Marine? yea null space is fun, once i found a ship there it escaped before i could kill it btw SC, were does the fluxfield drop u? is it random, a set point or to the region u were last at?
Emmett.hendrick Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 quote:Originally posted by Enigma: btw SC, were does the fluxfield drop u? is it random, a set point or to the region u were last at? Fluxfields has set drop out points but there maybe a number of points some of which drop you to a black hole. So one time you go through a flux field you may emerge somewhere safe and sound the next time you get blown to bits.

Delta1 Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 I went into null space last night while I was engaging an ODS. I was trying to match speed, hit the after burner and accidently hit it at around 400k. I had done this several times before, and either the ODS bounced or I bounced. This time it seems I instantly ended up in null space. When i jumped out of null space, it took me all the way to the edge of the map, not to my original location. I tried to duplicate this again, but no joy. Though, after 30 minutes of pounding the ODS with my main guns and ALL my missles, I finally destroyed the ODS. Little suckers are tough. Were can I get that armor for my ship?
