ChrisOldfield Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 The flight crew refuses to start repairs on my fighters, they start work, and then quit without doing anyting. Also, they won't let it fly when one part is at 99 the rest are at 100. Then they won't repair the one that's at 99, even at a station.
Wolferz Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 The flight engineers only prep the craft, they don't fix it. System engineers are needed for repairs. I'm going to auggest that you RTFM...Pronounced: Read The Fine Manual. before you torque off the SC and welcome to Battlecruiser. You ain't seen nuthin'yet.
Kalshion Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 quote:Originally posted by Wolferz: You ain't seen nuthin'yet. Thats for sure. And yes please do read the manual, if theres one thing we have ALL learned about SC is that he hates it when people ask questions that can be answered in the manual/appendix
ChrisOldfield Posted February 16, 2003 Author Report Posted February 16, 2003 guys, all I know is that I went to logistix, scheduled a repair for the fc1 main gun. (just like I would for 300AD). They sit around and do nothing, even though I assigned 20 men and have all the parts. They still do nothing. . . So unless the computer automatically assigns flight engineers from the logistix computer, it must have been system engineers. . .
Kalshion Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 SE's are the only ones that can repair systems FE's are the only ones that can PREP the ships for take off, they hardly ever repair the ship *they only recharge the battery, reload missles, and there was one other thing they did* alot of times I've noticed that a system thats 99% won't repair any further and once repairs are done you gotta assign two fleet eng's to the ship again. Please read the manual its listed in there.
Pedro Pablo Laracuente Posted February 16, 2003 Report Posted February 16, 2003 sometimes systems wont be fully repaired... And to launch the fighters make sure they have a pilot and that you have assigned engineers to ready them (you can see he fighter slots in yellow, they'll be like that between 15(2 engineers) and 30 (only one engineer) minutes. Hope that helps!
