Buying a cloaking device on a trading vessel

Hey pplz.

I own a lovely nice trading vessel like the MRT-15 and i recently aquired or rather bought all the necceseties for a cloaking device. problem, i cant get it to work or be installed.

Now is this part of the linearity of being in a trading ship. Can i install weapons etc or am i doomed to live with an un armed ship for the rest of my days. For the developers, im also a game developer, it would be nice to release a patch that could possibly allow for upgrades on ships such as this like in the titles Privateer and Privateer 2. Ok, thats all, hope to hear a reply from anyone.

By the way, i haven't heard much on multiplay but which patch version WILL contain the multiplay update? ive got the latest.

A quick question about cloaking devices. Is there any other risks besides radiation leaks when letting the cloaking device breach 100%?
