BCMG Multi-Player Functionality

I've done a search, and researched what I thought was relevant and was unable to find out anytyhing. So, here's my question:

Can you have 2 player characters on the same ship in multiplayer in any fashion? Or, for example, can you pick up a pc in a shuttle and go attack somewhere? Or have a friend pilot one of your fighters? Or transport yourself and a team of friends to the surface? Or any kind of similar interaction?

If you can't do it in BCMG, can you do it in UC?
