bcase Posted November 24, 2001 Report Posted November 24, 2001 I'm new to this site but I've played BC3000ad for years. I had the 96 version that just wouldn't fire up on the old pc but it got better over the years, until version 2.9. I now own BCM and although I've been looking all over this site I don't seem to see anyone having the same problems as myself. I patched to version 1.01 and that went well but for some reason I'm having a megaload of problems. The game runs but it crashes a lot. When I'm in FP mode and I go to the tacops computer to get a lay of the land it crashes the game. If I am a Elite Marine the sniper rifle won't fire. if I'm the regular marine I am invisable but my gear isn't, jetpack, weapon show up fine, but not the marine. When I was in the commander role I went to the moon from the earth. When I got the moon didn't exist, I went through the atmosphere sequence and right into a black hole, no stars and no moon just the word DOWN on my HUD. I have a HP Pavilion with 1.5 gig CPU intel pentium 4 128 meg of ram 80 gig hard drive Creative sound blaster 128 [WDM] DirectX 8.1 OS WindowME I'm thinking this might have something to do with my PC setup but not sure. I'll still try doing it 2 fields at a time, but I doubt it'll work. By the way, does anyone know why my stupid computer does this? I could e-mail you my registration info if you want though.

Man, I just bought this computer 6 months ago, shows you how much I know when it comes to Hardware. Thanks for your help, I'll load new drivers on, and maybe look at getting another vidio card soon.

Loaded the Drivers, I also uninstalled BCM and reinstalled and then Patched it. I am happy to say that I'm not having any of the problems I had before and would like to thank you for all your help.
