I put all the graphic settings which were possible to 32 bit. When I do however, it says that my system is low on RAM. I have over 512 megs of ram. Also the game will occasionally jam up.

Perhaps it means video RAM

Hi Melanie,

First, try posting this in the "video issues" section in the support section. People around here get pissed when you post in the wrong area. However, be sure you have closed/shut down all other programs that are running when you load up BCM, to ensure you have as much RAM as possible.

If that still doesn't work, it is possible your video card doesn't have enough RAM. On the BCM box it states you need a minimum of 16MB of video RAM to run BCM - if you have less than that, you may be SOL

I'm had the same problem as you Melanie (and I don't even have BCM yet ). It's probably windows playing up again. Imagine a 1.4gig Athlon with 512kb Ram grinding to a halt. Get ramidle or other memmory freeing programs from a freeware site. It fixed my problems when playing games like Civ III so give it a go.

I predict an admin will move this thread before the day is out.

Oh, and SC, you might want to try putting something at the top of the BCM General Discussion thread discuraging people from posting tech issues there. Just a suggestion.

Nothing to do with BCM.

Also, in the future, you may want to post your basic system specs. e.g. processor, video card (+ memory) and sound card.

Have you registered the game yet?

Wow, what a surprise.

I see SC took my suggestion. I'll take your pre-emptive thanks.

At any rate, I'll stop making off-topic comments.
