NO!!!!

When your ship turns at 10000 feet up then this ... looks like this about 2 seconds later ... and this a few seconds after that... Its this stupid little thing called GRAVITY!!! Believe me that happens to me alot. One thing I hate is that it wont let me watch myself fall. I fall off and 5 seconds later im dead. Unless because of the high wind i fell apart but I can stand on top of a shuttle fine.

It has been a while since I gave you guys a mission . (not that you actually listening to me I think But here are a few new ones you can try.

1) Try to use an orbital supply station! I've tried it several times and those little things orbit REALLLLLY fast!

2) Once you get onto the supply station, make your CC Attack the spacestation and watch the sparks fly from your orbital vantage point.

3) IF you're REALLY crazy then stand on the space station and order your ship to attack. Give it some support with your rocket launcher, just don't stand near a PTA turret!

Mission 2)

1)Take your CC down to Earth. Set to full speed and put on your ABs. Wait until you are GOING full speed and then slam yourself into the surface at an angle. Your CC SHOULD start to skip across the ground (Taking extreme amounts of damage)

2) If this doesn't work and you are simply stuck to the ground, then give your CC orders to fly some place with the tacops and then exit your CC in FP mode. This is one of the funniest things I have ever seen (If it works for you) The CC will go up into the air trying to take off and then gravity with SLAM it back down into the Earth, over and over and over again. Try your best to keep up

Deploy probe, stick your AE to it with its magboots.. order probe to nearest enemy station.

Its a purty light show.

That was really fun on Klingon Academy. I havn't tried that yet on BCM. It might be fun to enter Jupiter in FPM if it will let you, but it would probably kill ya.

I finally have an Avatar I like: ) I went and found this one myself. First to guess who it is gets a cookie, as someone once said (About 2 minutes ago)

Ive landed on some pretty harsh planets in the past but a gas giant? im not ready to risk that one yet

I once took my CC into Jupiter to escape a pounding I was getting for a number of hostile ships. My CC was fairly pasted by the time I made planet fall but by the time I managed to get out the other side she looked like something you scoop up on the road.

But the maneuvor(sp?) worked once I returned to space the ships that had been attacking me had left/dispersed and I was able to limp to galcom for repairs.

Woo, we are up to 2 pages now. Keep posting your insane joyride stories or ideas for new ones! The older and the stranger the better

Hey SC, I've got a question for you (If you even read this thread) What is the WILDEST thing you've ever done in one of your games? Give us the story, the scoop, the low down, the . . . never mind that. Just tell us

I would imagine you had to leave your ship at Galcom HQ for several real time hours to get those sort of repairs done

I have found it is far more efficient to use a regular planet to escape from attackers. If your engines are charged then you can enter a planet with no delay from the hyperdrive powerdown.

No, not really. The ship was spaceworthy(ish) so I just docked and got the parts I needed. Then launched and landed on Earth and let my engineers do the work while I did some mining and insurgent crushing!!!

I'm lazy and cheep. I Think they repair my spaceship for free when I dock at Galcom because I'm military so I just dock there and watch T.V. on the background while they work at my ship ;P I guess that isn't much of an insane joy ride though is it?

I've pretty much had my engineers rebuild my CC from scratch a few times. It takes a while to get used to combat in something as big as a Nightstar. But What I hate is when I loose a support unit. At a couple of million a piece they can really slow down my ground assaults when I loose one or two during an assault and have to replace them.

I really enjoy doing ground assaults but I can't do them any more. For some reason in my game everytime I give my marines a command they just mark themselves for Evac and stand there until they A)Get shot or B)I Evac them. It is much easier for me to just fly down in a fighter and slaughter the base any how. Nothing can really touch me if I just keep my jammer on and take out the flight pads first so they can't launch a counter attack from the air. Even if they do fighters are easier to shoot down on a planet (At least for me they are)

I have to say I enjoy ground pounding with my marines on a planet.

Plus I get great satisfaction from watching a well co-ordinated ground assault from tacops before joining the fray myself.

Watching the fighters scream in while the sc's drop the OC's and the marines race round the base taking out the SAM's its great fun.

Sorry off topic my bad
