Eclipse Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 I beleive that the uniform incorperates armor etc. so he will probably continue to wear the uniform on planetary operations. You have to remember your AE is not a marine and probably should be running around in the middle of a firefight.

Whenever im a commander and I send my marines down im always down there with them nothing like seeing there own commander down there in battle with them, such a morale boost if you ask me *if there was such a thing in BCM*
Extinct_Reptilia Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Does anybody find space marines effective? I find they do little to nothing when space stations deploy them for defence. I can't find any practical use for them. What does everyone else use them for and for what find of situations? Will UC have any use for them? One things for sure, they are sure fun for exploring and getting that sense of scale!

Edit: forgot to add this: They also engage other SFM's when they are deployed, though I have an unconfirmed suspicion that their helmet faceplates are extremely difficult to see out of since they seem to die of exposure faster than from enemy fire.
