More n00b questions - Tacscan targets & troop deployment

At the risk of wearing out my welcome, I've got some more questions. I've tried to find the answers to these in the manual, in the appendix, and by searching the archives here, but I've been unsuccessful. Hope I didn't miss something obvious.

1) What does the color blue (not cyan) signify in the TACSCAN (in SPC mode--not SUL mode)? I don't see blue in the list of colors for the TACSCAN on either page 35 or 117, but I'm definitely seeing blue-colored dots flying around on it.

2) Am I correct in deducing that it is not possible to infiltrate hostile craft with my own Marines via the Transporter? I assume that in order to do that, I'd need to be able to select the craft as a Target via the TACOPS computer, but for the Transporter it only gives me the option to set a position via the map (or at least it did the one time I tried it).

This old thread would seem to indicate you can do it, however: Pre-BCM discussion So I'm confused.

2) not yet, BCG is supposed to have that

Those are neutral (affiliation) targets. Odd that its not in that section. I have now added it to the manual revision HTML file.

Correct. It is one of the features that was dropped due to time contraints.

It's only temporary until I figure out what fleet I want to join. Unless I receive a massive influx of players wanting to join the resistance, that is.
