Spindoktor Posted July 17, 2003 Report Posted July 17, 2003 I did something dum. I was attempting to assist a neutral station (Gazer1) against an enemy Violon (VAL/RAI I think). Anyway, a very hurt CC uncloaked right in front and I shot it up in a panic without first IDing it because I thought I was going to crash into it. I received a message that I lost Fleet C&C, so I assume it was either friendly or neutral. However, I did not notice any drop in EPs and I still have strategic command rank. My question is, will I be able to regain Fleet C&C? Perhaps when I gain the next rank? I'm in ROAM mode and playing a TER/MIL commander if that comes into play. Thanks.

It could be a coincidence that your Coms officer or Tactical officer went off duty at about that time (I think those two have to be on station for you to have CnC--could be another combo. I'd have to retreive my manual for specifics.) You should also check to see if your coms system, tac computer, etc are in working order. Sometimes they will be damaged enough to remove your CnC ability.
