Question about end of TO1

In TO1 M4/5 Karl Reines was beamed on my ship, and I got the rank Tacops commander and fleet C&C. When TO1 was finnished Karl Reines left my ship, but I kept my rank as Tacops Commander.

Have anyone else experienced this?

On another note it may have been better to have tagged this onto one of the may threads concerning the ACMs and TODs

no mater how old the thread is if you have something constructive / valid to add just resurrect that old thread.

Yep. I intentionally leave you at the rank. Of course, if you screw up later on, you will lose that rank and fleet C&C to boot.

In regard to TOD1 Mis 3/5, I have rescue the SOSed Diplomat8 and delivered it to Ramix, yet I didn't get any exp. points for making sure it made it home (let I lost some when it exploded in my face ) and it is said to be destroyed in TOD1 Mis 4/5 briefing . If it's predetermined fate is death, should I even bother trying to save it?

Also, I probably shouldn't capture Zerin before being given the order to do so if I want that promotion a lot sooner, huh?

A long time ago I wrote a complete spoiler on how I completed this ACM but decided not to publish it, the trouble with spoilers are they do just that they spoil the game and the fun in playing.

I updated it for BCM and it should be valid for BCMG.

This is my way of completing the missions it's not the only way of doing it.

I will not debate how and why I do thing the way I do.

Do it your own way if you fail try it my way.

I have removed the my solutions for TOD3 and TOD4 so it is no longer complete but the mission briefs are still there which will help you decide where to go before the preceding mission ends.

If you look at the message in your COMMLINK or at your STATS you'll notice that when REINES beam over your ship you are being promoted to TACOPS COMMENDER rank....... granting you the FLEET C&C option and rank.....
