jeputa Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 In TOD3 2/5 & TOD4 1/1, what is the penalty for capturing a starstation if Galcom wants it destroyed? I would think that accquiring real estate in those areas would go with their guidelines as far as ezpanding. Also, you might have captured the station before that mission was given & destroying a TER/MIL asset might not look good on the ol' resume.

The orders never said to capture it.. however that may be a good thing, you would still be disobeying orders. Even though the mission might be a success you could very well get a Violation on your record or maybe even a request to return to HQ for court marshal, that happened to me once .. was suppost to destroy this base but instead I captured it.. next thing I know it was a success but I was court marshaled. So just follow yer orders and everything will be fine, plus,as a bit of advice, don't destroy or capture any stations, you can harass them cause you never know if you'll need to capture them or destroy them
XOR Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 Heh that would be funny if someone put stuff like that on thier "real life" resumes like "i captured 20 start stations, RANDOMED all Gammulan planets and prevented a possible invasion on Earth"... The funnier thing is you might get hired for that seriously tho i know a guy who got hired at walmart because he put that he knew how to use photoshop on his resume!
