jnewl Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 Can anyone think of a reason why I can't program a destination into the Navitron computer? When I left-click on a system, nothing happens, i.e. it doesn't appear in the Destination slot like it's supposed to. I checked Logistix to make sure the Navitron is at 100% repair, and it is. I also checked to make sure there's power to it, and there is. Autopilot is off, and I cleared the previous destination manually via the NID. Nevertheless, I can't choose a new destination for some reason. Like I said, left-clicking simply has no effect. Am I missing something (probably), or is the durned thing just acting up?
Supreme Cmdr Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 If it was not operationaly, you would get a warning when you enter it. Navitron does not work in IA/TA because they use a different galaxy and not the default one. Make sure that you are only left-clicking on a starsystem, clicking anywhere else won't do anything. *topic moved*
jnewl Posted December 14, 2003 Author Report Posted December 14, 2003 I'm in a Roam campaign using the standard universe. In my current game, I was previously able to select a system in the Navitron by left-clicking on it. It's just that it has stopped working for some reason. Moreover, if I start a new Roam game in this same universe, the Navitron works properly. Thus, it's not a matter of my being in the wrong universe or game type or of my not knowing how to use it. There's something else going on.
Spindoktor Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Is your navigation officer on station?
jnewl Posted December 14, 2003 Author Report Posted December 14, 2003 Jesus. Yes, that was it. Thanks, Spindoktor. I'm a moron.
