map Posted June 17, 2004 Report Posted June 17, 2004 well, i seem to be faring rather well in my current game[knock on wood]. i personally parked my cc on earth, deployed all 4 drones, and took sc1 trading. more reading of the boards[use search function] i think i have figured out how to do PROFITABLE trading runs. also, i've learned to pick up every cargo pod and tow every ship that becomes available on your trading runs. i accumulated 5 mil credits and headed back to [my still intact ] cc to see how the drones were doing. extract 4 full drones. now, it seems all 4 drones gathered the same group of minerals which makes sense if only certain minerals can be mined from specific planets. so that's my question; do specific planets only have a limited set of minerals such that mining on different planets and moons will yield a different set of minerals? the more you play this game the deeper it is
