Ashryd Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 First post WHOO! Anyways been playing awhile and I wanted to know something. Basically I wanna know if all castes can get fleet C&C. Then I can slowly expand a Mercenary army from the Station I "hijacked" in Rebelan. I say "hijacked" because a) It was neutral and It was a trader station. I mean c'mon they're hardly gonna get it to SOS level with Unarmed transports are they? I could just imagine it Trader Commander: Ramming Speed! Engines FULL POWER! All crew members brace yourselves! Trader Ship: BOINK!
Supreme Cmdr Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Yes and No. If you can gain enough EPs to increase in rank, you can gain Fleet C&C. So, since raiders don't have a military structure, you can't get fleet C&C unless the scenario script explicitly sets it.

Ya see I haven't been playing that long so I need to learn all the ins and outs. Just tell me one thing. If playing as a Mercenary caste in roam mode when I get the required rank/EP's, that i would gain fleet C&C if I was say military what would happen? Would I be able to tell allied units what to do or would i just not gain fleet C&C? P.S. Great game SC
