movie rental night : Godzilla-thon

well, after playing Godzilla destroy all monsters melee, i got the inkling up to go and rent some of the old godzilla movies.

ahh memories... picked up godzilla vs megalon, godzilla vs gigan, godzilla vs monster zero, godzilla vs King Ghidora, aaaaannnd godzilla vs the monster from planet x. should take me a day to watch them straight through... i loved the cheezey special effects, the whole rubber suit thing, and the little toy models... not to mention the voice over work

kick back with some artery clogging cheese burgers and a case of bud bottles, and im set. cyall in a few days.

Urgh.. I watch a godzilla movie and my brain flies out my rear end 10 minutes after the movie starts.

I cant stand cheesyness in movies.

Oh ya the flyin turtle was awesome. I loved those movies when I was 9 but nothin beat the giant flyin turtle. Havent seen Godzilla movies for a long time and probably shouldnt . Probably wouldnt seem quite the same watching from adult eyes.

ya i remember gamera... and the 2 lil kids that always sang that gamera song... i thought the way he spun around when he flew was hilarious.

after watching all these GZ movies, i couldnt help but to laugh. it reeked of quieso, but thats what makes them so fun to watch.

I haven't watched them in a while. I should.

I suddenly want to see those singing kids! You know what was the funniest was when Gamera opened his mouth and moved his eyes. I gotta find me a copy now!
