brendiaz Posted July 24, 2001 Report Posted July 24, 2001 Yeah, I think its a really funny show, a little too crude for my tastes but still hilarious, although i would rate it below The Simpsons and slightly below Futurama.
Real_Lucas Posted July 24, 2001 Author Report Posted July 24, 2001 personally I love the simpsons and Futurama, but frankly the humour in Family Guy makes me consistently belly laugh a lot more than both of the other shows. Also bear in mind that Family Guy is Basically written by (I believe) 3 people, not a team of about a dozen for the simpsons and Futurama, and I am consistently surprised and mildly (and very pleasantly) shocked by the jokes at times. I think that's what counts in humour, when you go away from the show with "I can't believe they just did that, but damn that was hilarious!"I was also a fan of 'the Critic' and was very disapointed when they shelved that one.For those that don't know, it was a simpsons spin off starring (mostly) John Lovitz from SNL.Later, Lucas
