Supreme Cmdr Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 Saw this one yesterday and have mixed feelings about it. At 2:21 mins, it was longer than it needed to be. It is in the same vein as the previous two, but its not as good I don't think. It was entertaining all the same. 8/10
Thomas Siemens Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 Have seen this yesterday night. I liked it very much except one thing *spoiler ahead (for those of you who did not yet read the book)*: There is a werewolf in the last, say, quarter of the film. And this werewolf is simply ugly. I mean, they have done so much "nice" werewolves lately (see, f. ex. Underworld, or Van Helsing). This one did look terrible. Technically the worst "trick" I've seen in ages in a modern film, and way below the standard the movie sets itself with the other beasts, and animals... OTOH, the overall athmosphere of this third installment is very dark. Here in Germany, this film is allowed for 12 year olds (and olders), and even 6 year olds, when accompanied by an elder. Tough one, for a movie intended for the whole family, including children and their grandparents... I personally liked it as much as the first two, thus would give it a 9/10.
Guest Fox__Trot Posted June 14, 2004 Report Posted June 14, 2004 Rember these movies do get progressivley more "dark" you have read the latest book right? I like this movie so I give it 22/7'ths
