I think you can see why.

He can do all the moves and uses a sword rather well these days Plus he was ina cool vampire flick a couple years ago that i rather liked where he played a vampire detective.

Good point Fox. Jeez, Adrian Paul may have had the moves but he was severely lacking in charisma. I think producers and/or casting directors need to realize that good looks do not automatically mean a compelling presence on the screen. Look at Christopher Lambert. He's not model material (just comparing from what standard model fare is, and I know I am opening myself up to a little ribbing and questioning of my sexual orientation. So be it.) but ask any woman and she will probably tell you that he has a mountain of charisma. The accent doesn't hurt I'm sure. All right, the friendly (I hope) jokes may now commence.

(oh yeah.. smiles, yucking it up, lol etc etc etc) Becuase you obviousy have no eye for talent or charisma. Adrian paul is an excellent actor who is quite charismatic. Christopher lambret is quite popular overseas becuase he is unique and quirky not charismatic. Adrian paul has had 2 television series one 7 seasons the other 2 seasons and a few movies. Adrian paul generally comes accross as the strong silent strong moral type with mad skillz. thats about what you need for Blade. But Blade really needs to be black.. so...

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje: Oz, Bourne identity, mummy returns Gary Dourdan: CSI and of course michael dorn. talk about good black actors that have experience in television and have been in long runnung series. lesse oz was 6 or so, csi was the rookie at only 4 or 5, and star trek TNG and DS9... well i wont go there.

You've got to give him props for conveying so much through that Klingon make-up. Guest Grayfox Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 michael dorn is old... but hes still got that "ill still kick your ass" aura about him. hes definitely got the physical aspect down id personally like to see Akinnuoye-Agbaje. he also has that "ill kick your ass with my pinky" style about him, and he too has the physical thing down.
