If you haven't been catching this, now would be a good time to start. It follows Monk, another one of my all time favorites. If you missed the pilot, then you won't get it. He isn't actually a psychic. He just pretends to be one using his remarkable power of observation and auto-suggestion. Only his partner (West Wing's Dule Hill) knows that he's not a psychic.

Dad (now retired) shows up when needed and his are often some of the best scenes. Like with the doghouse.
