Eclipse Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 from what I was hearing the chopper was nearly finished and in flight trials. But that was a few years ago so who knows, maybe it didn;t live up to expectations?

Guest Remo Williams Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Considering that they started work on the Commanche back in 1983 its no surprise to me that it is obsolete for todays battle field. Now the army says its going to use the 14 billion allocated for the project to buy Black hawk and AH64-D Apache attack choppers along with unmanned recon aircraft.
