echo Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 A guy I used to work with, whom I only knew casualy but was friends with my sister and boyfriend, was one of the soldiers pronounced dead Sunday night. I have yet to watch the news or read about the details, but it happened just out of Bahgdad Thursday I belive. His name was Private Norman Darling, he leaves behind a 2 or 3 (not 100% sure) year old daughter. He chose to join the military to give her a better life. Never really being this close to someone killed in combat. I think it sucks! I am just sick about it. It only adds to the disgust I felt when Tillman was pronounced dead and that self riteous Eli whoever the heck his is was playing games over a contract. I do belive I am growing bitter.
Guest $iLk Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 They are all heroes to America. And I'm certainly understanding where you are coming from. I will pray for his daughter.
