I don't think that to be likely, SC. Our politicians take libel and slander to new heights every four years, in every form of media available. Since they control the courts and the laws they are supposed to uphold, it isn't likely to happen anytime soon. I'm surprised that every candidate who has ever run for public office hasn't embroiled thier opponent in constant litigation for libel and slander, which is exactly what mudslinging is. Kudos to the Canadian judge though On a side note: The short blog at the end of that story was most notable; Homeless man sued and ordered to pay &125000.00 dollars for cyberlibel against some corporation. That one begs alot of questions for details.
