I hope the Congress will sale the bunker busters to Israel, so that Isreal would be able to destroy possible nuclear weapon facilitys of Iran,as it is most urgent that Israel remains the sole nuclear power in the Middle East.If that wouldn't have been this way, then Israel could have been destroyed a long time ago, as for example in august 1967 there was a declaration of the arabian countrys that they would neither accept Israel, nor negotiate peace.Until now, only Jordania and Egypt have negotiated peace with Israel, so that the other arabian countries can still be a threat to Israel.

Well we are not THAT dependant from the arabian, oil exporting countries, nomad.We still have oil in the north sea.And we also have russia,with their massive oil ressources.

And to not help Israel survive by it remaining the sole nuclear power in the Middle East just because of the price for Oil would be the very wrong way.

I didn't say that the oil drilled from the north sea would have a big share in the oil market.I just wanted to express that it is good to know that we in europe also have an alternate(though small) oil source.

No I don't think that any of those nations would be then suicidial.But it is most IMO important that Israel remains the superior nation in the Middle East, as it ensures the peace(apart from the problems with the palestinians).Without Israel having detering weaponry, there would always be the threat of war in the Middle East.

Unfortunately this is a world populated by human beings.Superiority IS needed.Without a nation that is far superior than others, we wouldn't have had already this long time with peace(except from africa, as no one seems really to bother preventing its nations to slaughter eac other).Now that earth's most powerful country has committed several faults in the iraq war(thinking of abu ghraib), it's image isn't that bright shining anymore, it has lost the morale dominance(but still possessing the highest military sthrenght).The consiquences are fatal:Now that the giant USA is weakend, now that his doings are questioned, other countries are seeing their chance and go in the offense, like china and norkorea.IMHO this poses a threat to the whole world.
