You think that makes you mad have a read about this which ties in nicely to the lobbying of those companies to get this toll issue passed:

WASHINGTON - The stench of scandal on Capitol Hill is getting stronger five months after lobbyist Jack Abramoff pleaded guilty to influence-peddling charges, but a lobbying overhaul has yet to see the light of day.

The Senate passed its version at the end of March and the House bill was approved in early May. In the month since, the House has not taken the next step, naming negotiators for talks with the Senate on a compromise bill.

If such a tax was to go through, it would KILL internet bussiness widely

1st - Internet shopping would die out completely

2nd - Online Gaming would die out completely (who would want to pay 9 bucks a month plus an additional charge?)

3rd - Online communication would become a thing of the past (spending a buck just to send an e-mail? Maybe more)

4th - Multiplayer gaming would also die out, although it doesn't have the one month pay fee, it does have the tax fee, which most multiplayer's don't have the funds to afford an online game thats why they would rather play a 'free' online game

5th - ONLY the rich could afford to use the internet...

Ring any bell's people? It should...

Well the bill passed. I'm pretty disgusted right now that congress ignore the voters and sided with the lobbyist. Like I expected otherwise.

The bill still has to pass the senate.
