Defrag and WinXP

I remember some time ago Derek and others posted about a program that defragged better than the windows defrag tool.

Search cant find it, so if possible, please give me a link to it

They might be talking about http://www.powerdefrag.com but I'm not 100% sure, I think I saw something about that some time ago.

Personally, I use Norton Utilities Speed Disk myself. Its gotten to the point where I've used Speed Disk so long (I've got every version of Utilities since the Win31 days) that I don't really try anything else.

Remember to disable your swap file before defragging, that helps period.

Hope this helps, I hate defragging Esp. since all my hard disks now are 40+ gigs (I've got 3, 1 40, 2 80s, god, sound and video design sucks sometimes)

Also, don't forget to disable your anti-virus software as well

I use Diskkeeper. But you can find a ton of defrag utils over here.
