I love it when a genius throws a monkey in the wrenchworks.

Just like Napster and Metallica, it's all about the Benjamins. Forget about the global sharing of creative art. PAY ME is not an attractive way to build a fan base.

Napster didn't stop fans from attending Metallica concerts or buying their music but, their greedy response to Napster coerced me to have nothing more to do with them and their music.

If Mr Ulrich walked up to me on the street and handed me a free autographed CD of their latest album, I would spit on it just before dropping it into the nearest waste container.

Don't get me wrong; I am a firm supporter of artists getting paid for what they do and I think the dismantling of commercialized content publishers ( who seem very adept at screwing naive artists out of their rightful dues) would go a long way in assisting the artists instead of the label

If Michael Jackson decided to make all of his works available for free download and asked only for a donation, he would quickly become richer than he already is by cutting out the veritable plethora of greedy hands that stand between every artist and those who love them.
