ZDnet: IBM has decided to let open-source developers use 500 software patents without fear of an infringement lawsuit, a new step in its encouragement of the collaborative programming philosophy.

Where's the CATCH!!!!!!

Linux is the biggest Joke bought up by fools. The catch is that IBM, HP, DELL, Red Hat, Novell and others make TONS of money, BILLIONS, selling Hardware and Service contracts to Linux Users, while Joe "Idiot" programmer gives them updates for free.

Let's see, would I rather program for Microsoft where I get paid for it, or for IBM where I don't get paid for it.
